Where are you located?

  

My grooming salon is a professionally converted garage located on my property, separate from the main house.

Parking available on the driveway. Unfortunately, toilet facilities are not available.

   

How can I book an appointment?

  

All bookings I recommend completing online through my booking page if you can. It’s quick and easy — you can view my availability, select a service, and confirm instantly.

Can I call to book or ask questions?

  

Yes, but I do also work another job four days a week, I’m unable to answer phone calls between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM. The best way to reach me is by text message, email, or through my booking page. I’ll reply as soon as I can — usually by the evening.

Can you hold my dog before or after their appointment?

Unfortunately, I’m unable to keep dogs longer than their allocated grooming time. 

I run a strict one-in, one-out policy to ensure every dog has a calm, safe environment with no overlap.

Please drop off and collect your dog at the agreed times — this helps me stay on schedule and keeps things stress-free for all the dogs in my care.

What if I arrive early for my appointment?

I do try and aim to be in the salon about 10 minutes before each appointment, but I may be held up in traffic if you arrive too early and will arrive at the allocated time given.

I do not have any toilet facilities in the garage, so If I am not there, I might be in the loo. 

If the door’s closed and garage empty, please wait — I’ll be ready for you at your allocated slot time. 

I have a camera doorbell that alerts me when you arrive, so there’s no need to knock on the main house, thank you. 

What happens if I’m running late or need to cancel?

  

Please let me know as soon as possible, if you’re running late. 

Cancellations or reschedules made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a small fee, as I work by appointment only and no shows will result in a £20 deposit when booking in again. 

Can I stay with my dog during the groom?

For safety and to help your dog relax, I ask that owners do not stay during the grooming session. Most dogs are calmer once their owner has left, and this helps me work efficiently, safely and my insurance does not cover owners staying. 

How long will the grooming take?

Grooming times vary depending on your dog’s breed, coat condition, and behaviour. 

Roughly:

  • Bath & tidy: 1–1.5 hours
  • Full groom: 1.5–2.5 hours
  • Full Groom two dogs: 3-5 hours
  • Puppy intro session: 1hr

I’ll text you 10-15 minutes before your dog is ready for pickup, please arrive promptly. 

How often should my dog be groomed?

Most dogs do best with grooming every 6–8 weeks, depending on coat type and lifestyle. I can recommend a schedule tailored to your dog.

Do you groom nervous or rescue dogs?

Yes! I take a gentle, patient approach and allow extra time if needed. Please let me know in advance if your dog is anxious or has any triggers so I can make them comfortable.

What if my dog’s coat is very matted?

If your dog is heavily matted, I may need to do a short haircut for their comfort and safety. I’ll always discuss this before starting the groom, matting adds an extra of £5-£10, dependent on the severity, as this sadly causes my blades to go blunt quicker. 

What payment methods do you accept?

I accept cash/ card and bank transfers; cash is preferable if you can.

Full payment is due at pickup.

Do you send reminders?

Yes, if you have booked your appointment on the website— you’ll get an automatic email or text reminder 24 hours before your appointment, from GoDaddy- website provider.

Fully Booked Until Jan 2026!

Dear Customers,

I am now fully booked until January 2026, apologies if you haven't managed to secure a slot for your lovely pet, I really hope to see them in the New Year.

I do get cancellations, keep an eye out as I do update the booking page regularly.

I do still recommend booking a couple of slots in advance if you can.
